Dillinger II - HearingAids

After more than 20 years in the Donau-Einkaufszentrum, hearing acoustics specialist Dillinger required a wind of change: Dillinger´s manager charged Heikaus Raumgestaltung from Mundelsheim with a redesign project to make the shop come across as modern, bright and feminine.

The new design concept completely meets these requirements. It offers light, friendly colours such as white and various beiges, combined with individual dark elements. Additionally, the bright purple of the company´s logo was integrated into the concept as an accent colour. Simplified flowery vines decorate the entrance area as well as the shop interior. In combination with circular cut-outs in the walls that are used for effective presentation of the delicate hearing aids, they offer an atmosphere of elegance and exclusivity

Curious passers-by looking into the shop through the glass doors will not be disappointed. A bench with parted cushions of beige leather invites visitors to sit down. Pendulum lamps with crème-coloured shades provide a harmonious and calming light. This effect is emphasised by the dark-beige high-pile carpet covering the complete shop interior. The resulting atmosphere is warm and inviting, almost like a living room. Visitors can easily get comfortable here.

The furniture consists of white sideboards and white oval tables, complemented by comfortable dark leather armchairs. It is unobtrusive and emphasises the effect of the striking vine motifs.

Round shapes and curved lines throughout the shop give the rooms the desired feminine impression, and provide a stimulating contrast to the high-tech products that are at the focus here. For particularly attractive presentation, the hearing aids are placed in circular glass display cases. Here, the shapes used in the entrance area are taken up and reversed by mounting them on the walls instead of using recessed cases. Goods are not only presented on unobtrusive glass shelves, but also digitally on a plasma screen that can be used to directly test hearing aids. Sideboards and tables with integrated drawers both offer sufficient store room for accompanying documents and presentation materials.

The light architecture combines traditional lighting tools such as down lights, spots and pendulum lamps with indirect lighting. Together, they create an unobtrusively bright room with a friendly impression. The different light distribution and light colours create the best lighting atmosphere for the individual usage areas.
