Old walls with new makeup

Due to the pleasant expansion and positive development of the business, Heikaus GmbH needed more space for additional staff. Soon the empty industrial building of the sewing thread manufacturer Amann Nähgarne was discovered.

The property consists of 2 sections. One part of the building is from 1911 and one part from 1924. Since the entire first floor, with an area of approx. 650 sqm, was to serve as the office floor, extensive remodelling had to be undertaken here.

A spacious, modern office space was to be created. At the same time, great attention was paid to a balance between cool modern and warm ambiance. Clearly modern office furniture on the retained industrial floor pavement creates an exciting contrast. Customers and staff alike should perceive the space as cosy and feel a bit like at home. A natural stone wall with fireplace at the centre of the office particularly contributes to this feel.
