A true living experience

The concept creates a living space far from the usual and close to what it can truly mean to live: an experience. Similar to a loft, the residence can be experienced as a spacious, continuous room. From certain places its entire depth can be experienced. All functions are mounted in freely positioned frames which can be separated with sliding doors and heavy curtains upon request. This again and again offers new, staged views.

The spacious kitchen with a free-standing cooking island, as well as a large dining table to enjoy together, forms the centre of the residence. A mirrored ceiling lends impressive definition to the dining area, which is separated from the seating area with an open room divider. From here you can keep an eye on the kitchen, dining table and terrace. A large ottoman, a side table and a swivel-mounted LCD TV complement the sofa. The lighting mood can be adjusted to your liking via infinitely adjustable luminous ceiling.

A free-standing natural fireplace provides cosy warmth in winter. The adjacent small library on the south side offers a space for quiet reading or a breakfast for two. The private space of the residence offers room to sleep, work or be excited about amazed guests. The bedroom and study are clad with a ring of oak which lines the wall, floor and ceiling, connecting the spaces. The angled wall features integrated sliding doors to separate the two areas and simultaneously forms the headboard and desk. So in the bedroom you can ponder whether to watch the clouds or a thriller in the built-in LCD TV. The back of the bedroom accommodates the study. A sleeper sofa and a heavy curtain ensure guests will also find a comfortable place to spend the night. Dress for the office or your evening in the walk-in closet. Of course this is much nicer following a long bath in the free-standing bath tub or refreshing in the rain shower. The bathroom receives its natural light from a large window facing the inside of the residence.

The flowing space concept is enhanced by sophisticated material and colour combinations: the elegant, olive-green poured floor, wooden surfaces in oak, white painted surfaces, sensual textiles and colourful walls are in a constantly intense dialogue with each other, and of course the resident.
