Sörens Kauflust -Fashion

The newly opened shopping centre "Schlosshöfe" in Oldenburg offers its visitors shopping fun in more than 100 shops. One of them is the retailer "Sörens Kauflust", previously known mainly in the Hanover area for style and class at an extraordinary price-performance ratio. In close cooperation with centre management, HEIKAUS implemented the company's fifth subsidiary with its charming modern elegance within just a few weeks.

Nobility means commitment - in this case, this phrase refers to the shop´s prominent placement in the centre. An extraordinary design concept was created on eighty square meters here. Colours and materials are aligned with the present subsidiaries of "Sörens Kauflust" to warrant recognition value and further strengthen the Sörens brand. Light and dark greys, anthracite and white create a classically modern framework for the presented clothes and accessories. Bright colour accents in the corporate colour of violet were used pointedly in the room, e.g. in the changing room curtains, the presentation cubes or the cash point. Different, including softer, variations also provide a female air in the cool, modern room.

The shop is structured by the "loop" principle: the centre, where the highlights are presented, is formed by an unusual piece of free-standing furniture that permits flexible presentation of lying and suspended goods. Novelties, seasonal subjects and accessories are effectively displayed here, supported by the glamorous Mooi pendulum lamps that direct the visitor´s attention right at the display. Customers are invited to linger by the display's position right in front of the changing rooms, as well as by the integrated waiting area.

The changing rooms exude cosy comport and turn trying on clothes into sheer pleasure with their high-pile carpet and comfortable seating arrangements for decision-making. In the full-height standing mirrors, the customer can scrutinize her choice in detail.

Right in front of this, dark gallery walls with bright goods niches form the shop´s backbone while spatially separating the sales room from the changing rooms. The "loop end" holds the cash point. It is visually unobtrusive in spite of the fine mirrored look and does not steal attention away from the wall presentation consisting of rectangles of different colours seemingly stacked by pure chance.

All furniture and presentation elements are designed along straight lines, forming a perfect combination of attractive looks and great function. The materials selection and design details were chosen for usefulness and longevity to give customers and owners pleasure for a long time in spite of the high visitor frequency.

The balanced lighting concept consists of gimballed spotlights and GAIA-recessed lamps from the Professional Retail Light collection. Together, the two ensure sufficient brightness and guide attention in a targeted manner. The extravagant pendulum lamps with steel spring strips and more than 150 LED-cells per lamp, located above the central display at the shop's core, enhance the glamour factor.
