Elevation gained with systematic renovation measures

The optics chain store company VIVA!optic known in greater Cologne, with more than six branches, was able to reopen its Krefeld store at the end of November after a five week dramatic redesign. For the latest interior design executive director Lutz Landers again commissioned the store construction company Heikaus of Mundelsheim who are experienced in the field.

From afar, the linear storefront signals with its large V as a trademark for expertise. The wide scale eyewear assortment for women, men and children covers the entire spectrum of price ranges and is now presented in particularly attractive surroundings. In over 200 m² of selling space, the Heikaus design team realised an exciting room atmosphere as well as a product carrier function which satisfies with its clarity and easy navigation.

The distinctive flair of the space is on the one hand defined by striking graphic arts wallpaper and on the other with harmonic colour climate in the white-brown range. The delicate effective of the eyewear carriers form an interesting contrast to the calm design of the furniture.

Even in the new Krefeld branch lighting plays a dominating role in the overall look. The newest generation HIT lamps installed in the ceiling alternate with borders of gimbal lamps to highlight the product line in these areas. Pendants in the "Eyewear Bar" add decorative accents.

What´s special about this creation is the annexed, self-contained 65 m² "VivaOpticsBar" which features a separate entrance in addition to a large access from the optics area. In summer the folding system facing the precinct can be opened along the entire width. The 30 seats inside can be expanded with additional outdoor seating, further increasing the appeal.
